Store Merchandising Associate
Description
As a Store Merchandising Associate, you will provide point-of-purchase and shelf management support. You will help our Store Merchandising Manager to ensure our stores are stocked with the right products in the right quantities, at the right time and price. This commitment entails being resourceful, very organized, highly analytical and detail oriented.
In this role, creativity, strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and teamwork are a must. The ability to transfer knowledge and a service-oriented approach are essential for success.
Job Responsibilities:
- · Assist in the creation and updating of store layouts and planograms for new items and brands as needed;
- · Help in setting up dynamic displays and merchandising of products to enhance visual appeal and store environment;
- · Assist in planning where marketing signage goes, making sure to strategically place signages in areas where they are visible to customers;
- · Manage colour wall tags, swatches, and order;
- · Maintain store shelves by removing damaged or outdated products, tidy store shelves, and ensure products are displayed appropriately to maximize customer interest and increase sales;
- · Monitor inventory by restocking shelves, observing inventory levels, prompting management to reorder when levels appear low,
- · Assist Store Merchandising Manager with the maintenance of store inventory as it pertains to sending and receiving stock as well as arrange for return/credit for damaged products;
- · Track stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, flash sales, black out, clear outs etc;
- · Assist the Store Merchandising Manager in organizing training for Store teams in implementing and maintaining the highest level of presentation and visual standards consistent with the Merchandising and Branding Guide. Follow up with check-in’s and walk arounds to ensure stores are compliant;
- · Collaborate with marketing department for all signages including bi-monthly, sale events and other materials;
- · Coordinate store set up activities and ensure that all logistics are in place ahead of time;
- · Perform other duties as required.
